ART LAB is the new project of the spanish artist Alicia Framis for MOCA Shanghai. One more time Framis make her own work as a place where a lot of disciplines work together.

Framis decide to work with the idea of ARTIFICIAL NATURE as the main topic of the ART LAB, because she was very impressed about the architecture of the MOCA museum as a green house. She decided to work out with the idea of nature in Shanghai, as is well known nature nature is very artificial and even more the way we can relate nature in a city of 18 million people.

ART LAB is an art and design project that transforms the third floor of MoCA Shanghai into a 'living' exhibition. Through contemporary artworks, music, design, and inspired cuisine and cocktails, Art Lab provides an innovative environment for creative encounters.
