Hello,
I received a grant in 2008 from the CAM () for a project taking place in Rosario, Argentina.
The project entitled far from everything, far from you involved creating an illustrated art
encyclopaedia which would be performed during a conference on an island .
The final event will take place on June 6th, 2010 on the islands of the river opposite the city.
It took me two years to gather and draw the images to review and revise the
works of art that I have been travelling with for many years. I left behind some of them but
along my way found new ones and made them my own. It took two years to get to know the
river, its islands and its own world. Two years to meet the people who would want to join me
and support me in every possible way, particularly Agustin Gonzalez whose face voice and words would be used for the project.
I would like to invite all of you to the opening on Sunday, June 6th, knowing that many
would not be able to come all the way here. The meeting point is Rosario harbour at 4pm
where a boat will take us to the island. Our return to dry land will be around 7pm.
